Job Description

Our company is a renowned hospitality establishment committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and attention to detail. As a distinguished resort, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards in housekeeping and guest support. We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team and contribute to the immaculate upkeep and seamless operation of our property. This role is fundamental in ensuring guest satisfaction by fulfilling and delivering guest requests promptly and professionally, supporting the housekeeping department, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas.

The Housekeeping Attendant position offers an exciting opportunity to advance in your hospitality career. Starting with hands-on duties such as managing guest requests and maintaining linen and trash services, this role is a gateway to progressing into supervisory and management positions, including Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and ultimately Executive Housekeeper. The successful candidate will work closely with the Housekeeping Office and PBX teams and will be instrumental in creating a positive, welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities include reporting to the housekeeping office at the start of each shift, inventory management of linen supplies, removal of soiled linens and trash, and ensuring all storage closets are kept clean and orderly. The role demands attentive guest service, including timely response to guest needs and adherence to sustainability practices through our EarthView program, reflecting our commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

This position also requires maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with company standards, working safely around various cleaning equipment, and participating actively in hotel emergency procedures when necessary. The work environment is dynamic, with a need for physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods and to lift or carry loads of up to 50 pounds.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred but not required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties

  • Report housekeeping office and PBX team at start of shift
  • Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation
  • Inventory and maintain cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash
  • Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily
  • Offer assistance to guest when requested or needed
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping
  • Employ proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Make sure all storage closets are clean and neat daily
  • Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner and call them in as complete once delivered
  • Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and following company appearance standards
  • Collect trash from various areas throughout the property and take it to the designated area
  • Consistently maintain a positive, friendly, helpful attitude that ensures a positive guest experience
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • Other duties as assigned by management
