Job Duties

  • Conducting detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
  • Checking for missing or damaged items including linens, furniture, and amenities
  • Verifying that housekeeping staff follow proper cleaning procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • Assisting in training and coaching housekeeping staff to maintain quality standards
  • Providing constructive feedback to room attendants and addressing any deficiencies
  • Ensuring housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Responding to guest requests and complaints related to room cleanliness or housekeeping services
  • Ensuring VIP and special request rooms are properly prepared
  • Monitoring use of linens, cleaning products, and guest amenities to prevent shortages
  • Coordinating with supervisors to ensure proper stocking and distribution of supplies
  • Ensuring adherence to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations
  • Reporting maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC problems
  • Making sure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and stored
  • Completing inspection reports and logging any housekeeping issues
  • Assisting in staff scheduling and assigning cleaning tasks
  • Collaborating with front desk and maintenance team to ensure smooth room turnover
