The Room Attendant position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is a critical role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas throughout the hotel. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, timeliness, and a strong work ethic to ensure that all rooms meet Rosen's high cleanliness standards. The Room Attendant will stock supply carts with necessary supplies, replace linens, and replenish guest room amenities while always delivering service that adheres to the company's established standards. This role is essential in creating a positive, comfortable, and hygienic environment for guests, contributing directly to their overall satisfaction.
Room Attendants will proficiently handle a variety of cleaning duties including stripping and making beds, emptying trash containers, cleaning mirrors, dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, and thoroughly cleaning guest bathrooms which include scrubbing bath fixtures, commodes, floors, walls, and mirrors. In addition to routine cleanliness activities, Room Attendants will conduct deep cleaning tasks as assigned by Quality Control or management, ensuring all rooms meet quality expectations. This role also involves interacting professionally with guests, maintaining their privacy, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues, guest requests, lost and found items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing demanding tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and while a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it is not mandatory.
