Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with custodial or industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is advantageous
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and replenishing supplies
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping sweeping and polishing surfaces
- Ensure all public areas hallways and common spaces are tidy well-organized and inviting
- Handle laundry duties including washing folding and organizing linens and towels
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and supply inventory
