In the role of Room Attendant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high cleanliness standards that Hyatt Place guests expect. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 and is integral to the housekeeping team under the leadership of Nidia Chavez. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and sanitize guest rooms, adhering strictly to brand standards while also providing exceptional customer service. The job expands beyond routine cleaning to include deep cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that each guest room offers a fresh and welcoming environment. As a member of the team, you will handle a variety of tasks including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and managing the housekeeping supply cart.

The physical demands include being able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds regularly, as well as standing, walking, bending, and other activities essential to maintaining guest rooms.

Job Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- High attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform walking sitting reaching stooping kneeling and crouching
- Ability to respond promptly and politely to guest requests
- No prior experience necessary but a plus
- Must be reliable and have good organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role is beneficial but not required
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and associates
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to meet the demands of the job

- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Anticipate guest expectations
- Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens towels and guest amenities as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Stock maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Hyatt Place standards
- Be organized and maintain great attention to detail
