Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • High attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform walking sitting reaching stooping kneeling and crouching
  • Ability to respond promptly and politely to guest requests
  • No prior experience necessary but a plus
  • Must be reliable and have good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and associates
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina to meet the demands of the job
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guest expectations
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting and vacuuming
  • Change and replenish bed linens towels and guest amenities as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Stock maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
  • Demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Hyatt Place standards
  • Be organized and maintain great attention to detail
