The Room Attendant position at Stonebridge in Denver, Colorado, is a full-time, non-exempt role offering a competitive hourly wage of $19.29. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant plays a critical role in preserving the hotel’s pristine appearance and fostering a hygienic, inviting atmosphere for guests. This position involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, and other public areas in strict accordance with Stonebridge's cleanliness and safety standards. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to hotel protocols, including the use of approved cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Room Attendants are entrusted with vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, replenishing guest supplies such as linens and toiletries, and ensuring housekeeping carts and storage spaces remain well-stocked and organized. Additionally, duties include disinfecting surfaces, washing windows and woodwork, handling waste disposal, and meticulously reporting any found items or damages to hotel supervisors. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, time management, and a commitment to working independently or as part of a team to meet daily cleaning quotas and uphold guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Flexible availability including weekends holidays and evenings
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms hallways lobbies lounges restrooms corridors and other work areas according to health and cleanliness standards
  • Vacuum carpets clean upholstered furniture and draperies using approved cleaning equipment
  • Empty trash clean wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
  • Dust and polish furniture fixtures and equipment to maintain cleanliness
  • Replenish guest supplies including linens towels toiletries and other room amenities
  • Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas well-stocked clean and organized
  • Use only hotel-approved cleaning chemicals and follow all safety protocols
