Job Description

The Courtyard by Marriott Miami Aventura Mall is a modern, enthusiastic, and dynamic hotel designed to cater to the needs of both personal and professional travelers. Situated in Aventura, known as the City of Excellence, it offers a strategic location between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This five-story property features 166 guest rooms and boasts 4,800 square feet of flexible meeting space, making it an ideal destination for business conferences, social occasions, and events. Additionally, the hotel houses an on-site Restaurant Bistro, serving delectable American cuisine alongside Starbucks beverages, enriching guests' dining experience.

Positioned just steps away from world-class shopping, dining, and entertainment venues such as the Aventura Mall, Town Center Aventura, and The Village at Gulfstream Park, the Courtyard is also only a mile’s drive from the stunning nearby beaches. Owned and operated by Turnberry, a renowned developer committed to quality and community impact, the hotel reflects modern hospitality excellence. Turnberry's long history of creating exceptional destinations has helped shape the way people live, work, and play by fostering deep community connections and economic growth. Employees at this hotel benefit from being part of an organization focused on innovation and sustainability.

The role of the Housekeeper at the Courtyard by Marriott Miami Aventura Mall is essential to maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Housekeepers play a vital part in providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring assigned guest rooms are cleaned and sanitized daily. This includes thorough cleaning of bathrooms, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and ensuring guest rooms are inviting and sanitized. Precision and attention to detail are crucial as housekeepers check under mattresses and beds for cleanliness and forgotten items, disinfect surfaces like doorknobs and remotes, and apply air fresheners.

Housekeepers must be flexible, sometimes assisting in other hotel areas to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining safety for both guests and colleagues is a priority, following strict safety protocols as outlined in the team member handbook. The hotel offers comprehensive benefits to full-time employees, including medical, dental, and eye care coverage, 401K plans for retirement savings, short- and long-term disability insurance, international travel perks, weekly pay, free parking, and team member recognition events and outings. Most benefits are available after 30 days of full-time employment.

Applicants who are enthusiastic, professional, and committed to excellence are invited to join a team that values respect, professional growth, and community engagement. Turnberry's Substance Abuse Policy and Equal Opportunity Employer status further emphasize the commitment to a safe, respectful workplace. The hotel’s location, benefits, and supportive company culture make this an excellent opportunity for those seeking a stable and rewarding housekeeping career in the hospitality industry.
