The role available is a Full-Time Housekeeping position, classified under Non-Management, requiring availability for day and evening shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This position is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that The Ritz-Carlton brand upholds internationally. The Housekeeper will be responsible for responding promptly to guest requests and cooperating efficiently with other departments to maintain seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include filling and transporting supply carts, entering guest rooms following strict procedures, replenishing guest amenities, cleaning and preparing rooms to perfection, and attending to detailed tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and floor care. This role demands physical endurance and attention to detail, as well as adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

The housekeeper must perform various physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects, pushing loaded carts, and standing or walking for extended periods. Job Requirements

  • Availability to work day and evening shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments
  • fill and transport supply carts to assigned areas
  • enter guest rooms following protocols to ensure vacancy and safety
  • replace guest amenities, supplies, linens, and terry with clean items
  • make beds and fold terry
  • clean bathrooms thoroughly
  • remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
  • check that all appliances are present and functioning
  • straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • follow all company safety and security policies and report any issues
  • complete safety training and certifications
