Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work on feet for extended periods
- capable of bending, twisting, and reaching above shoulder level
- able to operate heavy cleaning machinery
- availability to work up to 12-hour shifts
- willingness to work weekends and cover absences
- basic knowledge of janitorial chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- physical capability to perform demanding tasks
Job Duties
- Maintain and promote Tyson's safety culture
- receive training as required
- perform various assigned cleaning and housekeeping duties
- sweep, mop, and remove trash from assigned areas
- operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, wax machines, and trash compactors
- clean windows, doors, tables, restrooms, and designated areas
- ensure all tasks are completed before the end of the shift while adhering to safety policies
