Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of related experience preferred
- Current Texas driver’s license required
- Knowledge of vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, mops and wringers, shampoo machines and extractors
- Physical ability to perform heavy cleaning duties and lift heavy objects
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, mops and wringers, shampoo machines and extractors
- Ability to operate assigned vehicle safely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of equipment
- Experience in cleaning and sanitation preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for cleaning assigned areas including walls, windows, floors, baseboards, outside walkways, refrigerators, freezers, hood and vents, assigned vehicle
- Receive, store and keep inventory of all supplies
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low or in poor condition
- Distribute supplies as needed to various buildings
- Collect soiled linens and deliver to the laundry
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of meeting and dining areas including moving tables, chairs, and steam tables
- Perform occasional driving as the company chauffeur according to daily schedules, transporting passengers to and from appointments
- Report any mechanical malfunctions and problems of any vehicle to maintenance
- Collect and dispose of all trash daily from all buildings
- Perform any other duties as assigned to maintain proper operation of the department and Villa de Matel Center
