Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred
- ability to follow instructions
- strong time management skills
- good communication skills
- physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications

- prior housekeeping or laundry experience is advantageous
- ability to follow written and oral instructions

- knowledge of infection control procedures

- physical ability to perform cleaning and lifting tasks
Job Duties
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills
- work well with team members
- follow proper infection control protocols
- provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- collect and remove trash and debris
- attend department and staff meetings as directed or called
- perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- perform assigned tasks in accordance with established cleaning and disinfecting procedures and facility policies
- label or mark personal articles of clothing for laundry with identifying information
- record production and inventory information in accordance with facility policies
- prepare linen and supply order to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor to replenish stock and/or replace frayed or torn items
