We are currently seeking dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Housekeepers to join our team. The role of the housekeeper is vital in supporting the daily functions of our facility, maintaining cleanliness and order to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff. The primary responsibility of this position is to carry out the day-to-day cleaning activities as directed by the Supervisor, which helps uphold the high standards of hygiene and comfort our facility is known for. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, be proficient in time management, and work well within a team framework. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, restrooms, public areas, floors, and office spaces, following proper infection control protocols, and handling personal articles for laundry with care and precision. Housekeepers play an important role in maintaining inventory records related to laundry and waste disposal activities, attend relevant meetings, and perform additional tasks as assigned. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to handle physical tasks, and a commitment to contributing positively to the overall environment of Parkwood in the Pines. Job Requirements
- must be able to pass background check
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year’s work in a nursing center preferred
Job Duties
- follow proper protocols to clean resident rooms, restrooms, public areas, floors, and office space within the facility
- demonstrate excellent time management skills
- work well with team members
- follow proper infection control protocols
- label or mark personal articles of clothing for laundry with identifying information
- record production and inventory information according to facility policies
- attend department and staff meetings as directed or called
- perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner
