The role available is for a Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt Place, a position critical to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the brand is known for. As a Housekeeping Manager, the incumbent will oversee supervisory duties within the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and common areas meet Hyatt's rigorous standards. Responsibilities include inspecting guest rooms, counseling and interviewing employees, resolving guest complaints, and managing administrative office duties related to housekeeping operations.
This position requires at least one year of hotel experience with prior supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential to coordinating activities and maintaining records effectively. The position demands flexibility, as shifts vary weekly with start times as early as 7 AM and end times as late as 9 or 10 PM. Working on weekends and holidays is a requirement.
The compensation for this role ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, with the exact hourly rate commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
