Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, reach overhead, push, pull, bend, and walk stairs
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and push or pull approximately 200 pounds infrequently
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Must be unquestionably honest and dependable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Inspect completed guest rooms for cleanliness and rental status
  • Complete a daily report that indicates the cleanliness, rental status, and required maintenance work for assigned rooms
  • Assume duties of Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper in their absence
  • Clean rooms or perform other necessary tasks as needed
  • Maintain flexibility with hours including working weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ensure room attendants have proper equipment and supplies
  • Deal with guests and personnel with poise, problem solving, and training abilities
