Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or relevant environmental services experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for an extended period
  • Ability to bend, reach overhead, and squat frequently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy including payroll systems

  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates and guests in person or via cellular telephone/radio
  • Prior housekeeping or relevant environmental services experience required
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift
  • Ability to bend, reach overhead, and squat frequently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer literacy including payroll systems

Job Duties

  • Ensures that assigned linen room closets are stocked at par
  • Empties guest room attendant carts of linens and trash as needed
  • Assists in stripping check-out rooms of linen and removing trash
  • Assists with taking in room dining dishes, tables, and trays from guestrooms and corridors to service elevator landing
  • Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean and vacuumed
  • Sweeps, scrubs, and mops hard surface floors on assigned section
  • Assists in deep cleaning and shampooing carpet and/or furniture
  • Picks up guest shoes to shine and delivers them back
  • Assists in distribution of items to guest rooms
  • Assists in housekeeping inventories
  • Washes and restocks glassware and coffee cups in linen closets
  • Assists guest room attendants with supplies
  • Ensures all linen is dropped in the linen chute in a timely manner
  • Responds swiftly and effectively in emergency or safety situations
  • Attends required department trainings and meetings
  • Performs other duties as required by management
