Job Requirements

- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- must be able to communicate in English
- must be able to communicate well with guests

- ability to follow safety and security rules and regulations

Job Duties
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift
- remove newspapers and service trays
- empty ash urn receptacles
- remove trash and/or linens and note any areas needing immediate cleaning
- clean public areas including hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells following safety and security procedures
- remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from service areas to appropriate locations
- aid section housekeepers as needed
- report missing or found articles, damages, or merchandise problems to Supervisor or Senior Housekeeper
- receive assigned section, keys, supplies, and priority requests from Supervisor or Senior Housekeeper
- respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
- coordinate with Senior Housekeeper on work priorities and provide assistance when needed
