Job Description
Hilton is a globally recognized hospitality company known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. With numerous hotels and resorts worldwide, Hilton has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry, focusing on quality, comfort, and customer satisfaction. As part of the hospitality sector, Hilton emphasizes creating a welcoming environment for guests and providing outstanding service through dedicated and well-trained staff members. Hilton supports career development and provides a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and respect.
The House Attendant position within Hilton's Housekeeping department plays a crucial role in upholding the brand's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Director of Housekeeping, the House Attendant is responsible for performing essential cleaning duties and supporting the overall housekeeping operations. This role involves transporting linens, cleaning guest balconies, stripping rooms of dirty linens and trash, maintaining the exterior appearance of guest rooms, and organizing linen closets among other tasks. The House Attendant must maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and linens, report any deficiencies, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and operation of golf carts used daily.
This position is a non-exempt role, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Hilton values punctuality, safe work habits, and proactive communication within the team. The House Attendant must be flexible, adapt to changing priorities, and be able to work independently while supporting the housekeeping team's efforts.
Overall, the House Attendant is a vital team member who contributes significantly to the guest experience by ensuring the environment is clean, organized, and welcoming. Candidates should be committed to excellence, willing to work weekends and holidays, and possess basic language skills in English. No specific certifications or licenses are required, but the role demands adherence to Hilton’s grooming and uniform policies and compliance with safety standards while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
