This multi-skilled technician role is essential for performing light repairs, preventive maintenance, and thorough room preparation to meet and exceed company brand standards. The Houseperson ensures that all guest areas and the overall property remain safe, clean, visually appealing, and functional. They work both independently and as part of a team to support housekeeping operations, guest satisfaction, and facility upkeep.

In addition, the role includes preparing guest rooms after move-outs by cleaning, staging furniture and supplies, inspecting rooms for pests or maintenance issues, and treating linens for stains before removal.
The Houseperson also provides essential backup support to the housekeeping team by assisting with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding company linens and terry, and cleaning and maintaining laundry facilities. Cross-training on Move-Out and Stay-Over Attendant duties is integral to the role, ensuring flexibility and comprehensive service coverage. The employee must be available for on-call emergency responses, contributing to the safety and well-being of guests and the property outside normal working hours.
This full-time role demands a positive, service-oriented attitude, commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely and efficiently with hand and power tools as well as light equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers. Clear communication skills and proficiency in English are essential to follow procedures accurately and collaborate effectively within the team and with guests.
