The position of Houseperson-Housekeeping at Hilton Dallas Park Cities is a critical role within the hotel’s housekeeping team. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on helping maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms. The houseperson supports the deep cleaning process by moving furniture to access hard-to-reach areas, cleaning carpets’ edges, washing interior windows, scrubbing bathroom floors, and other essential cleaning tasks. They also assist with routine duties such as rotating mattresses quarterly and running daily room status reports to ensure the housekeeping team has up-to-date information on room readiness. Additionally, the houseperson tracks their progress through daily activity charts, which helps maintain efficient workflow and quality standards.
Candidates for this role must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds and being on their feet continuously for an eight-hour shift. Effective communication in English with guests and staff is essential to coordinate tasks and uphold the standards of guest service and teamwork within the department. - Charts all daily activities on progress chart
