Job Requirements

  • Experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning
  • Ability to perform manual labor including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of safety and hygiene regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to report safety concerns and suspicious activities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in hotels and in housekeeping
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Clean all public areas including entrances, doorways sidewalks, restrooms, restaurants, meeting areas and lobbies
  • Deliver all facets of floor care including carpet cleaning, marble care and restoration, and cleaning and maintaining other hard floor surfaces
  • Assist Room Attendants with stripping beds and removing linens
  • Report damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols
