Job Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning
- Ability to perform manual labor including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to report safety concerns and suspicious activities
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in hotels and in housekeeping
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Clean all public areas including entrances, doorways sidewalks, restrooms, restaurants, meeting areas and lobbies
- Deliver all facets of floor care including carpet cleaning, marble care and restoration, and cleaning and maintaining other hard floor surfaces
- Assist Room Attendants with stripping beds and removing linens
- Report damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols
