Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds regularly
  • must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
  • physically capable of bending, stooping, and moving among guest floors
  • reliability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • strong oral communication skills
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to complete work accurately and meet company standards
  • reliability and sense of urgency
  • ability to connect with people in an outgoing, friendly manner

Job Duties

  • Manage all room assignments effectively and efficiently
  • ensure cleanliness in guest rooms is met and exceeded
  • handle clean and soiled guest room linen and trash
  • shampoo carpets, clean furniture, and other items
  • stock and prepare carts for room attendants
  • move furniture, mattresses, box springs, mini-refrigerators, and beds
  • report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • keep linen room locked and organized
  • maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies
  • respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management promptly
  • report lost and found articles to supervisor
  • perform inventory management in linen stock rooms and restrooms
  • perform all other assigned duties
