Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend extensively
- Physical ability to push, stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shift
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Must be well-groomed and adhere to uniform standards

Job Duties
- Report to work as scheduled in proper uniform in accordance with company appearance standards
- Maintain a friendly positive attitude ensuring a positive guest experience and recognizing returning guests
- Follow and adhere to all Housekeeping department policies and procedures
- Communicate properly over the radio
- Respond to and close guest requests using HotSOS and radio systems
- Assist room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from carts
- Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms, hotel lobbies, ashtrays, elevators and tracks, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrances, and hallways
- Handle guest interactions with excellent guest relations skills
- Clean back-of-the-house windows as needed
- Vacuum guest hallways daily
- Use proper cleaning chemicals as described by department procedures
- Attend departmental meetings as scheduled
- Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain linen closets clean, stocked, and organized
- Dispose of trash to the compactor at end of the day
- Wash guest room glassware and deliver to linen closets
- Return dirty glassware to housekeeping at shift end
- Perform additional duties as directed by management consistent with company policies
- Notify supervisors promptly of issues or unusual matters
- Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and team members
- Attend all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment and work area
- Execute emergency procedures according to hotel standards
- Comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
- Recycle when possible
- Stay current with hotel information and changes
- Promote teamwork skills at all times
- Comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards
