Job Requirements
- Must have previous experience in a similar role or related environment
- Able to stand, walk, lift, bend extensively
- Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shift
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be customer-service orientated with excellent hospitality skills
- Basic English language proficiency
- Ability to follow safety regulations and company policies
- Able to communicate effectively over radio
- Must comply with uniform and grooming standards
- Must be polite, friendly, and helpful
- Able to handle physical demands such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Meet special vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Job Duties
- Report to work as scheduled in proper uniform and personal appearance standards
- Maintain a friendly positive attitude that ensures positive guest experiences and recognition of returning guests
- Follow and adhere to all housekeeping department policies and procedures
- Use proper etiquette when communicating over the radio
- Respond, follow up, and close guest requests assigned via Rexx radio
- Assist room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from carts
- Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms, hotel lobbies, ashtrays, elevators, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrances, and hallways
- Handle guests with excellent guest relations skills
- Clean back-of-the-house windows as needed
- Vacuum guest hallways daily
- Use proper chemicals for cleaning as described in department procedures
- Attend all departmental meetings as scheduled
- Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain linen closets clean, stocked and organized
- Bring trash to compactor at the end of the day
- Wash guest room glassware and deliver to linen closets
- Bring dirty glassware to housekeeping at shift end
- Notify immediate supervisors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters
- Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and team members
- Attend all hotel meetings and training sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
- Execute emergency procedures as per hotel standards
- Comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
- Recycle whenever possible
- Remain current with hotel information and changes
- Promote and apply teamwork skills
- Comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards
