Job Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccines required for all employees including newly hired and current staff
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capability to use hands for handling and feeling
- ability to reach with arms
- physical ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- ability to talk, hear, taste, and smell
- ability to sit as needed
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly
- vision sufficient for reading, writing, and computer use
- ability to communicate with guests in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic knowledge of safety procedures and use of safety equipment
- ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds
- attention to detail and customer service orientation
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Duties
- Ensure that assigned linen room closets are stocked at par
- empty RAs linens on an hourly basis or as needed
- empty RAs garbage on an hourly basis or as needed
- keep the linen room closets clean
- remove trays from the guest floors
- keep corridors on guest room floors clean
- keep back of house clean surrounding housekeeping areas
- move furniture upon request
- perform daily runs and assignments within a 6-8 hour shift
- follow hotel safety policies and use safety equipment as needed
- report any broken items found in hallways to engineering or supervisor
- complete guest requests within reasonable time
- perform all duties as requested by housekeeping supervisors or managers
