Operational responsibilities include the correct use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals, strictly adhering to OSHA regulations and hotel protocols to ensure safety. The housekeeper must complete detailed daily reports and be capable of cleaning standard guest rooms efficiently within a set timeframe while achieving the hotel��s high cleaning standards. Tasks span from cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, and public corridors to dusting furnishings, replenishing supplies, making beds with fresh linens, and maintaining housekeeping carts and linen rooms.

Other duties include the upkeep of pool areas, cleaning ice and soda machines, emptying linen from chutes, managing lost and found items, and assisting co-workers and guests when needed. The role demands alertness and responsibility during emergencies to protect guests, staff, and hotel systems, ensuring a swift return to normal operations.

Physical demands of the job require the ability to lift and transport heavy items up to 25 pounds and push or pull equipment up to 100 pounds. The housekeeper must be able to stand and move steadily for extended periods and work in environments with variable temperatures and noise levels. The work involves exposure to potential odors, dust, biohazards, and chemicals, necessitating a strong adherence to safety and health guidelines.

Job Qualifications
