We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping and Guest Services department. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant General Manager and is offered as an hourly, non-exempt role. The hourly wage ranges from $14.50 to $16.00, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation for valuable team members. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean and maintain guest rooms and other assigned areas within our limited-service hotel environment. You will support guest satisfaction by ensuring rooms meet hotel brand standards and company policies, providing guests with an inviting and spotless space during their stay.
As a Housekeeper, you will be instrumental in ensuring that guest rooms are cleaned and serviced properly, which contributes directly to a positive guest experience. Your duties will include making beds, replenishing amenities, sanitizing bathrooms and fixtures, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and removing trash. Inspecting rooms for cleanliness and maintenance concerns is key to keeping our property in excellent condition, and you will promptly report any issues to management. You will also be responsible for restocking linens, towels, and supplies, following precise cleaning procedures along with all safety standards and chemical handling guidelines.
Maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality at all times is of utmost importance. You will provide courteous and timely responses to guest requests related to housekeeping services, supporting smooth and efficient room readiness for check-ins. Occasionally, you may assist with deep cleaning projects and other special assignments. Success in this role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within established time standards, and a professional attitude consistent with hotel grooming and uniform standards.
The physical nature of this position involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. You should be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds. The work environment predominantly consists of indoor guest room and housekeeping areas with exposure to cleaning chemicals and repetitive tasks. Flexible availability is necessary, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
