The Housekeeping Helper position entails maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of specific hotel areas, ensuring these spaces meet the brand's stringent standards. This includes guest public areas, offices, restrooms, banquet rooms, meeting rooms, and conference venues. The role involves performing various cleaning tasks such as dusting, shining furniture and fixtures, vacuuming and sweeping floors, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and buffing floors. Additionally, the Housekeeping Helper is responsible for waste disposal and maintaining ashtrays to sustain a tidy environment. Beyond cleanliness, this position enhances the guest experience by greeting all visitors warmly and promptly responding to guest requests. The Housekeeping Helper is also tasked with coordinating supply replenishment with management to ensure cost-effective and timely resource availability. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance requests and repairs forms part of the responsibilities, ensuring operational efficiency. The position demands both routine cleaning duties and the capacity to manage special cleaning projects. Occasionally, this role requires assisting with guest room cleanliness to accommodate peak periods or special requests. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • clean and maintain designated hotel areas such as public spaces, offices, restrooms, banquet, meeting and conference rooms
  • dust and shine furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum, sweep, mop, shampoo carpets and wash windows
  • clean and buff floors
  • dispose of waste and ashtrays
  • greet guests amiably
