We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Helper to join our housekeeping department. This is a vital role that assists our housekeeping staff in day-to-day tasks to maintain smooth operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
As a Housekeeping General Helper, you will play a crucial supporting role by managing linen handling, laundry duties, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and front office. You will be responsible for loading vans and housekeepers’ baskets with clean linens such as sheet sets, towels, and toilet paper, as well as collecting dirty linens and trash. This role also requires you to manage water jug replacements and ensure supplies are well stocked. You will assist in washing laundry when necessary, receiving cleaned laundry deliveries, conducting inventory checks, and distributing water to housekeeping staff. Attention to detail, reliability, and basic laundry knowledge are key to succeeding in this position.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry duties
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying
- Basic knowledge of laundry and cleaning processes
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred

Job Duties
- Load van with clean linens
- Load housekeepers’ baskets with clean linens
- Pick up dirty linens, trash, and replace empty water jugs
- Wash laundry as necessary
- Keep laundry area clean
- Keep front office stocked with clean linens including sheet sets, towels, toilet paper
- Check conditions at beginning and end of shift
- Receive cleaned laundry
- Keep inventory stocked
- Distribute water to housekeepers
