The role of the Maintenance Worker at Cape Fear Country Club is essential to ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the club’s indoor and outdoor areas. This hourly position involves a variety of maintenance tasks designed to keep the club’s property safe, hygienic, and visually appealing. Typical working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., five days a week, with flexibility required to work weekends and holidays as needed, ensuring continuous operational support throughout the year. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for essential duties such as cleaning entry and exit doors, pressure washing exterior building surfaces and sidewalks, window cleaning, gutter maintenance, and keeping golf course restrooms in excellent condition. The role also involves the emptying of trash receptacles throughout the property and providing light housekeeping services when required. Additionally, Maintenance Workers must report maintenance concerns such as damages, broken bulbs, or plumbing issues to the Maintenance Director promptly to prevent any disruption to club operations. The role requires individuals to be comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts and to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, climbing, walking, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
