Job Requirements
- Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision
- must be able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions
- must be able to communicate effectively by phone and verbally
- must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions
- must be able to fill out chemical identification stickers
- completion of post-offer occupational health physical assessment, drug screen, and background check
- must be able to plan daily cleaning tasks
- must be able to lift and operate cleaning equipment safely
- flexible to work assigned day or evening shifts
- preferred prior experience with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques
- preferred additional related education and/or experience
- adherence to drug-free work environment policy
- compliance with organizational policies and safety guidelines
- must be able to work every other weekend
- commitment to safety and patient service excellence
- reliable and punctual
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- must live or be willing to relocate to Loveland, Colorado

- Previous related experience and familiarity with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques preferred

Job Duties
- Performs all cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas
- dusts, mops, scrubs, disinfects, vacuums, and polishes according to policies and procedures
- empties hampers and transports soiled linen
- empties trash containers and removes all trash including medical waste
- inventories, restocks, and replenishes supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap
- maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and reports repairs
- performs special projects such as window washing, wall washing, and removing heavily soiled items or furnishings
- responds to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors
- meets or exceeds customer service satisfaction goals
- follows safety protocols and chemical handling procedures
- works under supervision at assigned facility
- collaborates with internal and external customers
