Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and health standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability to work in an in-person setting
- Good physical stamina for cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential, hotel, or commercial settings
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Familiarity with laundry processes and stain removal techniques
- Previous roles involving housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff are a plus
- Experience in hospitality environments that require attention to detail in guest service
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing to ensure freshness and order
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing to keep all surfaces pristine
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards, including bathrooms, kitchens (if applicable), and common areas
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure readiness for next use
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or meal preparation when required for hospitality settings
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests and addressing concerns professionally
