Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent not required
- ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted, and heavier items with assistance
- ability to handle housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
- willingness to adhere to uniform and appearance standards
- compliance with safety policies
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- effective communication skills
- ability to perform manual labor including bending and stooping

Job Duties
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned area
- enter guest rooms following access procedures and ensure vacancy
- replace guest amenities and supplies
- change dirty linens and terry
- make beds and fold terry
- clean bathrooms
- remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- check appliances for presence and working order
- straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
- follow company safety and security policies
- report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- properly store flammable materials
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards
- anticipate and address service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- communicate clearly and professionally
- support team to reach goals
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- perform physical tasks including lifting and pushing carts
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
