Additionally, this role requires running laundry services, emptying trash, shampooing carpets, turning mattresses, and cleaning guestroom sliding glass doors as needed.

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
  • Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts
  • Run laundry and empty housekeepers' trash
  • Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines
  • Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors
  • Shampoo carpets as assigned
  • Turn mattresses as assigned
  • Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned
  • Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry)
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
