Job Description

The Housekeeper will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and hotel common areas. This position requires the ability to clean up to 17 rooms within an 8-hour shift, adhering strictly to the hotel’s cleanliness and operational standards. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping and climbing
  • Ability to push up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
  • No formal education required
  • Ability to work efficiently without invading guest privacy
  • Possess a neat and clean appearance
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests and staff

Job Duties

  • Clean the hotel rooms quickly, neatly and efficiently
  • Ensure guestroom corridors are clean
  • Maintain a neat and clean cart, storage rooms and supplies
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude toward guests and staff
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Respect all hotel equipment and property and use with care
  • Document any deficiencies within the guestrooms and corridors
  • Label and submit all lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
