Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with residents, guests and team members
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and work in narrow and confined spaces
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work without sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Friendly and courteous interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Ensure all community areas and resident apartments are clean and orderly
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with Grand Living guidelines
- Perform cleaning tasks including scrubbing, scouring, and upkeep of surfaces
- Operate cleaning equipment and manage supplies efficiently
- Interact with residents, guests, and team members in a friendly and professional manner
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the Director of Environmental Services
- Follow all community policies, procedures, and safety standards
