The role available is for a full-time Housekeeping position at the JW Marriott located at 151 W Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois. This is a non-management role that offers a competitive wage ranging from $19.88 to $26.50 per hour, along with tips. The position requires a proactive individual dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a Housekeeping team member, you will play a critical part in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring all guest rooms and hotel areas are impeccably clean, well-stocked, and orderly. Your responsibilities will include promptly responding to guest requests and collaborating with other hotel departments, preparing rooms by replacing linens and amenities, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and maintaining overall room appearance. Safety and security protocols must be strictly followed, and all maintenance issues reported promptly. Physical stamina is essential as the role involves pushing carts and lifting objects of various weights. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team are key components of success in this position.
