Job Requirements

  • No education required
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work on weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds
  • Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
  • Availability to include weekends
  • Prioritization and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure
  • Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities
  • Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage
  • Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department
  • Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area
  • Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk
  • Maintain guest confidentiality
  • Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner
  • All other duties as assigned
