This opportunity is for a Clubhouse Attendant at The Bay Club Company, a pivotal role with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a high level of member satisfaction at the club. As a Clubhouse Attendant, you will be an essential part of the hospitality team, responsible for upholding the pristine condition of the club’s facilities and delivering attentive, professional service to members and guests. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and exhibits a friendly, professional demeanor consistently. You will support the club’s operations by executing routine cleaning tasks such as restocking supplies, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors, which are critical to the club’s presentation and member safety.

In addition to physical maintenance duties, this role emphasizes exceptional customer service skills. You will greet members warmly, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to requests or inquiries, embodying the club’s culture through your conduct and communication. Participation in club events, training sessions, and meetings is mandatory, ensuring that you remain aligned with the company’s standards and values. The role may involve working varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational demands of the club.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Minimum two (2) years of housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Detail-orientation and high cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of housekeeping or janitorial experience

Job Duties

  • Detail cleaning and preventive maintenance responsibility such as re-stocking towel shelves, empty and wipe down trash cans, disinfect and clean toilets and showers, clean vanity mirrors and top lights, vacuum carpets, mop floors regularly, and dry mop wet areas
  • Restock vanity supplies and replenish inventory and janitorial products
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Greet members and guests throughout the property
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of our members
  • be attentive, listen carefully and follow through
  • provide exceptional customer service
  • Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
  • Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training
  • Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
  • Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings
