As a Housekeeping Associate at Spacious Skies Campgrounds, the role involves much more than traditional cleaning duties. It is a vital, guest-facing position that ensures the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the campground's facilities, lodging, and camp store. The Housekeeping Associate works closely with multiple teams including General Management, Maintenance, Grounds, and the Front Desk to create a seamless and positive experience for every guest. This role is integral to setting the welcoming tone of the campground and requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.
In addition to maintaining spotless accommodations and common areas to company standards, the Housekeeping Associate assists with front desk operations including guest check-ins and check-outs when necessary. The position also requires managing housekeeping supply inventories and maintaining equipment in good working order. Spacious Skies operates as a collective, so while associates primarily work at one campground, there can be exciting opportunities to participate in brand-wide initiatives or support other properties temporarily, involving occasional travel.
The role demands adaptability and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and guest-centered environment. A strong commitment to customer service, effective communication, and teamwork are key competencies for success. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- weekend, holiday, and varied shift availability required
- strong customer service attitude and professional demeanor
- ability to work in a fast-paced and guest-focused environment
- proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks
- willingness to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
- proven ability to provide exceptional guest service
- strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in campground management software and Microsoft Office (preferred)
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stimuli, guest-focused environment
- ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- motivated by friendly or healthy competition
- weekend, holiday, and varied shift availability
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- bilingual in Spanish or French is a major plus
Job Duties
- Handle daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and stocking duties as requested by management
- clean and tidy accommodations, bathhouses, camp store, and common areas to company standards within designated timeframes
- ensure housekeeping projects do not interfere with guests’ enjoyment of facilities and amenities
- maintain office equipment and supplies in good working condition
- assist the General Manager with monthly cleaning supply ordering and inventory management
- keep storage and housekeeping areas organized, stocked, and guest-ready
- maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve issues or concerns effectively
