The Housekeeper role at Travel + Leisure Co. is a vital position supporting the general resort operations by maintaining cleanliness and quality standards of resort units. This role requires an individual who is meticulous in cleaning and maintaining sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms within resort properties. The Housekeeper uses specialized cleaning techniques, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and bedding arrangements, to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests. They are tasked with replenishing essential supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries and managing linens with care through sorting, counting, folding, and marking. Not only does this position focus on the physical cleanliness of units but also emphasizes maintaining positive relationships with guests and associates.
Beyond the physical duties, the Housekeeper serves as a frontline representative for guest service by responding effectively to guest inquiries and concerns to guarantee exceptional satisfaction. Handling guest issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills is important to enhance and improve the overall guest experience. This role demands the ability to work independently while adhering to established housekeeping standards and protocols. Strong communication skills are essential to liaise effectively with employees, guests, and ownership, fostering a cooperative workplace environment.
