The Housekeeping Associate role at Saint Luke's South is a critical position within the Environmental Services Department, directly contributing to the hygiene and safety of the hospital environment. This position requires a full-time commitment working Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a rotating weekend schedule every other weekend. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Associate is to ensure cleanliness and disinfection in various areas of the healthcare facility, including patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and floors. These duties are vital to preventing hospital-acquired infections and ensuring that patients receive care in a safe and sanitary environment. This role involves tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, removing trash, and handling linen and biohazard disposal, with a physical requirement of lifting up to 50 pounds.
