Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry duties
- Commitment to maintaining community standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Demonstrated compassion and enthusiasm for senior care and hospitality
Job Duties
- Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization
- Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents
- Maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms, common areas, and community spaces
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding and distributing linens and clothing
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure residents’ satisfaction and comfort
