The position of Housekeeping Associate is vital to maintaining the clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere that residents and visitors experience daily. The role, part of the Health Center team, operates under the general direction of the Environmental Services Manager. The primary responsibility is to ensure that assigned rooms, hallways, and common areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to Carillon's safety practices and handling all property with exceptional care. This role requires flexibility and attention to detail, as the associate must effectively manage a weekly cleaning schedule and utilize proper chemicals and procedures for various cleaning tasks. The Housekeeping Associate plays an essential part in fostering the hospitality culture at Carillon Senior Living by upholding community standards and contributing to the overall positive resident experience.
The position is a full-time role with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering an hourly wage ranging from $12 to $15. Job Duties
- Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments such as vacuuming cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces
- Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
- Cleans dusts sweeps and mops assigned rooms when scheduled
- Stores chemicals and equipment as directed
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
