Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field
  • experience managing a team preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong physical stamina
  • proficiency in scheduling and performance evaluation
  • knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • ability to uphold company policies and standards
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Manage a team of room attendants and house attendants responsible for cleaning and upkeep of hotel areas
  • interview, train, and schedule housekeeping staff
  • conduct performance evaluations and discipline staff when necessary
  • schedule daily housekeeping work and collect room and floor status sheets
  • monitor daily progress of room attendants
  • inspect completed rooms to ensure standards are met and coach employees on deficiencies
  • coordinate work orders and follow up to ensure completion
  • release checkout rooms to be sold
  • monitor performance of house attendants
  • ensure sufficient supplies on guest floors
  • check cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets
  • comply with Four Seasons' work rules and standards of conduct
  • work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
