The role of Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is vital to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of Trilogy's facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee spaces are kept spotless and well-maintained in compliance with both Trilogy standards and federal and state regulations. The Assistant performs daily cleaning assignments, including deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs, along with specialized isolation cleaning procedures aligned with infection control protocols. Additionally, the role may involve laundry duties such as washing, drying, delivering, and properly storing resident laundry and linens while handling all related equipment responsibly.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
  • Ability to handle physical cleaning and laundry duties
  • Willingness to follow infection control and safety regulations
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Reliable transportation to the Hudsonville, MI location
  • Pass a criminal background check as required by state law

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees
  • Perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs, and isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with infection control procedures
  • Ensure work and assigned areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored at all times
  • Wash and dry resident laundry and linen, deliver and put away laundered items, maintain equipment and label resident laundry
  • Follow Trilogy standards and comply with federal and state regulations
  • Assist in maintaining infection control standards
  • Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
