Trilogy is actively seeking a Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join their team at The Oaks at Woodfield in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment consistent with Trilogy's high standards and compliance with federal and state regulations. The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant will be responsible for various cleaning tasks that contribute to the comfort and well-being of residents, their families, and staff members. This includes regular cleaning assignments, deep cleans for move-ins and move-outs, and specialized cleaning procedures under infection control protocols.

Additionally, the role involves managing laundry duties where applicable, ensuring that resident laundry and linens are processed efficiently, equipment is well-maintained and stored properly, and all tasks are completed timely to uphold a sanitary and comfortable living space. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
  • ability to follow federal and state infection control regulations
  • capability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or ged/hse preferred

Job Duties

  • maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees
  • perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs, and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control guidelines
  • ensure that work areas and equipment are properly cleaned and stored before breaks and at the end of the day
  • wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items
  • properly use, store, and maintain laundry equipment
  • label resident laundry appropriately
