Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Demonstrate proficiency in English communication
- Previous institutional cleaning experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Ability to safely handle medical and hazardous waste
- Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and infection control standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- One year of previous institutional cleaning experience preferably in a hospital or hospitality environment
- One year of customer service experience
- Vocational training and certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping and related cleaning activities focusing on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and general hospital environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic cleaning skills in patient, staff, office, clinic, or visitor areas
- Use chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques, and infection control methods safely to maintain high-quality standards
- Speak, write, and understand English for effective communication
- Handle and remove medical and hazardous waste safely
- Maintain the hospital's physical environment to the highest cleanliness standards from both appearance and infection control perspectives
- Work flexible shifts including day, evening, and night shifts with alternating weekends
