Job Description

American Senior Communities is a distinguished provider of senior care services headquartered in Indiana, known for its unwavering commitment to compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence—core values that guide every interaction within their community. Founded in 2000, this organization has built a strong legacy of excellent outcomes and Hoosier hospitality, offering an environment where seniors are treated with dignity and respect. With over 100 locations throughout the state, American Senior Communities has established itself as a leader in senior care, supporting the health, well-being, and comfort of its residents through dedicated and compassionate team members.

The North Park Nursing Center, one of the facilities within this network, is currently seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join their team in a part-time capacity during weekends. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The housekeeping aide plays a crucial role in the overall quality of life for nursing center residents by providing reliable cleaning services and laundry duties, ensuring that all areas of the facility meet rigorous hygiene standards.

As a Housekeeping Aide at North Park Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to contribute positively to a supportive atmosphere that engages residents in a meaningful way. Your work will directly impact their comfort and safety, creating an environment that feels welcoming and cared for. This position requires physical stamina, strength, and endurance to complete various cleaning tasks effectively. Key personal attributes such as teamwork, supportive presence, and a strong commitment to the organization’s C.A.R.E. values—compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence—are vital for success in this role.

This role is well suited for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a mission-driven team dedicated to senior care. Beyond the cleaning and laundry responsibilities, you will be part of a collaborative team that works together towards an overarching goal of delivering excellent care to residents. The culture at North Park Nursing Center and across American Senior Communities emphasizes employee recognition, professional development, and a supportive work environment.

In addition to the rewarding nature of the position, American Senior Communities provides competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote work-life balance and career growth. Benefits include access to earnings before payday, employee referral bonuses, 401(k) plans, medical, vision, and dental coverage, employee assistance programs, and wellness coaching. Employees are also offered paid time off, holiday pay, educational partnerships, scholarship programs, and numerous discounts.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and want to join a progressive and supportive healthcare community, the Housekeeping Aide position at North Park Nursing Center offers a fulfilling and meaningful career opportunity.
