The Housekeeping Aide position at MemorialCare - Saddleback Hospital is a per diem, day-shift role that plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for performing cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection functions within assigned hospital areas according to established schedules and protocols. Your role is vital in supporting infection control and patient safety by ensuring compliance with site-specific cleaning procedures and safety standards. This includes the proper use and maintenance of departmental equipment and materials. Moreover, you will be expected to report any unsafe conditions promptly to management, assist with other housekeeping duties as directed by supervisors, and interact positively within the healthcare team. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- two years of hospital and/or hospitality experience preferred
- basic computer skills including email usage and computer-based training
- strong multitasking and organizational skills
- ability to interact positively and constructively
- punctual and reliable with ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties
