Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods during the full work shift
  • Ability to lift, move, transport, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds unassisted and heavier objects with assistance
  • Ability to push and pull loaded maintenance carts and related machinery over inclines and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, twist waist, crouch, and move through narrow, confined, elevated, or slippery spaces
  • Completion of safety training and certifications
  • Adherence to company safety policies and procedures
  • Professional appearance and uniform maintenance
  • Commitment to privacy and protection of company property

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests
  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of safety and maintenance procedures
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Attend promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report preventive maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Place caution signs as required
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Respond to guest requests and arrange furniture in rooms as needed
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including waste, trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
